THE Bowral Blacks secured their third successive victory on Saturday.
The Blacks recorded a 25-20 win over a fast finishing Camden side at Camden Rugby Ground.
The result means the Blacks have moved into fourth spot on the Illawarra Rugby Competition's first grade ladder.
Head coach Gene Fairbanks said the Blacks started well to score three tries early.
Fairbanks said Camden hit back strongly and his side had to hold on for victory in the final 10 minutes.
He said Bowral's best three players were Mitch Spargo, George Harrison and Max Jenkins.
"I was very pleased and that's three in a row now," Fairbanks said.
"The most pleasing aspect is the level of footy that we're played at the moment is really good."
Bowral's second grade side fell 31-12 against Camden.
The two Blacks senior teams will receive a bye this weekend
The sides return to the field to face the Campbelltown Harlequins at Eridge Park on May 14.
