James Freeman and Wendy Howard have joined the school community as Year 2/3 and Year 1 teachers.
Mr Freeman has taken on Year 2/3 at Exeter, after spending some time at Colo Vale Public School from 2013.
He has completed early childhood training and comes with a wealth of experience which has spanned across the state, with stints in the Central Coast, Deniliquin and Bylong.
The Moss Vale resident said he became "interested" in Exeter Public School, which prompted him to apply for the position.
"I had a really good feeling about the school," Mr Freeman said.
He said he was excited for the role and the opportunities it created.
"I love to see children progress and I love dealing and learning about individual characters and the energy they give off," he said.
"I like turning it into a happy and positive environment."
Mrs Howard also brings a wealth of experience to the team at Exeter, after spending the past 22 years at St Thomas Aquinas School in Bowral.
She said she counts herself "very lucky" to have found a position at Exeter.
Mrs Howard has taught various grades and will look after Year 1 students at her new school.
"I love to bring out the best in children," she said. "I love to see them achieve and be the best they can and I like to see every child excel and shine."
Exeter Public School principal Andrew Barnes welcomed both teachers to the school.
