The second annual Southern Highlands Wedding Fair brought more than 2000 visitors to Bowral, and showcased more than 120 wedding vendors to husbands- and brides-to-be.
Couples and their families travelled from all across the state to visit the wedding fair that is fast becoming a major attraction on the NSW wedding expo circuit.
Southern Highlands Wedding Fair organiser and Manage My Event director Donna McIntosh said having a wider range of exhibitors was a major reason for the continued success of the event.
"The reviews and feedback have been really, really positive so far," she said.
"I've already received enquiries about bookings for next year so it looks like we'll be having another one."
The day brought together exhibitors in all wedding-related categories, from bridal wear to lingerie, venues, event planners, stylists, celebrants, reception food trucks and even a new twist on accommodation "glamping" (glam camping).
The big giveaway of the day was a $3000 custom-made wedding band by Harlequin Manufacturing Jewellers, which was won by a local bride to be for her 2017 wedding.
Ms McIntosh said the event was supported by Manage My Event volunteers and helpers, who had "made the day what it was".
"We're only happy if our exhibitors are happy and they've had lots and lots of enquiries and bookings, which is our main aim," she said.
Ms McIntosh said the food vendors were a great addition to the day.
"Argentinian Grill, Red Belly Pizza, Biota and Fib Gelato Cart provided a great taste of what the Highlands can offer in food," she said.
