CLAY target shooting returned to Berrima on Saturday.
The Berrima Clay Target Club opened the doors to its new and upgraded facility for a novelty day and Christmas shoot.
The Berrima Clay Target Range hosted close to 30 shooters, including men, women and three juniors.
It was a tight competition on Saturday and South Coast visitor Bob Duncan emerged as the major winner.
Berrima Clay Target Club president Barry Kable said the standard of shooting was high.
"Everyone was only a couple of shots off winning," he said.
Following the competition, the club hosted more than 40 people for a Christmas-inspired lunch.
"It was a very good day and everyone had a good time," Barry said.
Special guest at Saturday's event was Australian clay target shooter Glenn Kable - Barry's son.
Glenn is currently preparing to compete at the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
It will be the fourth time Glenn has competed at the Olympics and he will be in the men's trap category.
Glenn said it was good to take a break from training to visit the Highlands.
He said he was impressed by the facility at Berrima.
"What you have here is the ideal learning centre, a breeding ground for future [national] representatives," he said.
"There has been a good roll up, it's a great day for shooting."
Saturday marked the first event held at the Berrima range in more than 12 months following a change of management.
Barry said the next shoot would be held in early January.
