THE Sturt Craft Centre will become a hub for Highlands' poets this weekend with the Little Mountain Readings workshop and poetry night.

Participants in the workshop will develop their poems with Bundanoon-based poet Peter Lach-Newinsky.
Peter is an awarded poet with the Vera Newsom Poetry Prize in 2011 and the Melbourne Poets Union Prize in 2009 and 2010 among his accolades.
An open mic poetry night will follow where participants of the workshop can read their poems to an audience with prizes to be won.
The night will feature Peter Lach-Newinsky, fellow Australian poet Lorne Johnston and live music from Jessica Pierson.
The Little Mountain Readings workshop will be held on Saturday, November 28 from 10am to 1pm at Sturt Cottage in Mittagong.
The Little Mountain Readings poetry night will follow from 5pm to 8pm.
Tickets for the Little Mountain Readings workshop are $65 for general admission, $45 for Friends of the Sturt Craft Centre and South Coast Writers Centre members, $15 for students and concession card holders.
