In the past few weeks, anonymous judges have been evaluating the customer service the 2015 finalists have to offer.
The judges have been hugely impressed with the friendly, personalised service offered by these businesses, driving home the point that the people behind the brand are the difference-makers.
The key to the success of these local businesses is keeping customers happy through the delivery of great service experiences.
"The combination of brilliant customer service, high-quality products and services and great-value, competitive pricing is a credit to the teams behind the local businesses of Southern Highlands," said manager of the 2015 Southern Highlands Local Business Awards, Steve Loe.
"While only one business can be a category winner, all finalists should be congratulated on their efforts."
The eagerly-anticipated announcement of the 2015 category winners is set to be announced at the 2015 Southern Highlands Local Business Awards presentation evening on Wednesday, October 21. This event will be held at Mittagong RSL.
The presentation evening will make local business the star of the show, and will celebrate the important role that these businesses play in improving the lives of local people.
Sponsors and prominent local dignitaries will also be in attendance.
Tickets for the presentation evening are selling rapidly, and a sell-out event is expected to celebrate local business excellence on the night.
The 2015 Southern Highlands Local Business Awards are made possible by support from major sponsors Hume Coal and TrueLocal; and support sponsors Harper Entertainment Distribution Services, Clifton Accountants, Boral Cement Berrima, Wingecarribee Shire Council and Southern Highlands Business Women's Network.
Further updates on the progress of the awards will be made available in the Southern Highland News, with extensive coverage of the presentation evening and the announcement of the award winners.
