HIGHLANDER Mick Driscoll has taken home his second major motorcycling title for 2015.
Driscoll was recently crowned the J3 state champion for the Motorcycling NSW Enduro Championship (off road competition).
The win complements recently winning the 2015 Motorcycling NSW MX state champion title.
Round five of the Motorcycling NSW Enduro Championship was held at Portland.
Leading into the final round, Driscoll was ahead on points for the J3 class and was on track to wrap up the title.
On day one, Driscoll finished first in the J3 class and for the junior division overall.
He replicated these results on day two to finish first overall for the weekend in the J3 class and juniors.
The victories meant Driscoll became the first state champion for motocross and off road enduro.
Driscoll said he was elated to be named state champion.
"It is an awesome feeling to come away with this state championship, as this is my first year competing in the off road events," he said.
"It feels great to become the motocross and the enduro champion in the same year.
"It is something that we set our sights on at the start of the year and to achieve it is great."
Driscoll said he wished to thank all sponsors, friends and family for their ongoing support.
