Printmaking sisters Annie Day and Robin Ezra invited "printmakers from around the globe" to join in the exchange and submit works for the exhibition.
Proceeds from exhibition sales will go to World Animal Protection, as the body of works centre on a theme of 'animalia'.
Printmaking techniques present in the works include intaglio, relief, collagraphy, stencil, lithography, letterpress, serigraphy and screen prints.
Each artist involved created 10 prints, one of which will be used for the exhibition before being permanently housed in the National Gallery of Australia, and another of which is donated to the exhibition for sale.
The remaining eight prints are to be exchanged between the artists so that each artist involved will receive a random collection of works to commemorate their involvement in the exchange.
The official opening will be held from 2pm, with all welcome to join in The Glass Room of the art gallery.
Visitors may also choose to enjoy a snack or delicious beverage from the gallery cafe, which now offers an all-day tapas menu, as well as a selection of Australian wines and beers.
Milk Factory Gallery is located at 33 Station Street, Bowral, and is open from 10am to 5pm, seven days a week.
