The Magic will travel to Sutherland Basketball Stadium for the finals of the NSW Waratah Men’s Youth League competition.
The first challenge will be tomorrow afternoon when Moss Vale takes on the Sydney Comets in a semi-final.
If successful, the Magic will progress to the youth league grand final on Sunday against either Hornsby Spiders or Ryde Bulls.
Moss Vale will enter the semi-final as favourite after winning both of its games against the Comets in 2015.
The Magic recorded an 82-75 win when the sides met in May, before winning the return clash by 92-83 earlier this month.
The most recent win helped Moss Vale secure second place on the ladder. Magic coach Kev Campbell said his team wouldn’t underestimate the Comets.
“The Comets are a strong team - they have no real weaknesses.
“They are very well coached and it will be about who executes their plans better on the day.”
Campbell said defence would be crucial for Moss Vale.
“My key message is to leave nothing on the floor because it’s sudden death now,” he said.
“Defence is key and we need to shut them down.”
