One of Australia's longest-running mountain bike marathons returns to the Highlands on November 7 and 8.
It offers riders the opportunity to compete across some of the state's best trails.
In 2015, The Fling offers riders the choice of four race distances:
The Full Fling (approximately 110km)
Half Fling (approximately 55km)
100 Mile Fling (approximately 160km)
A new race called the Some Fling (23km).
The Some Fling is aimed at growing the number of junior racers, new racers and for those who prefer a sprint distance.
The Highland Fling is supported by Wild Horizons.
Huw Kingston from Wild Horizons said organisers had noticed a significant increase in the number of junior riders wanting to challenge themselves with serious racing.
"These next generation Flingers have literally grown up with us - doing the skills clinics, the Kid's Fling and the Casual Fling.
"They aren't ready to tackle a Half Fling quite yet, but definitely need that next level," he said.
The CamelBak Highland Fling will once again be the final round of the 2015 Maverick Marathon Series.
