Corbett Gardens is without doubt one of our shire's favourite public spaces. It's also one of our oldest parks.
And just like all of our public assets, we have to continually maintain and improve the gardens as they age to ensure it can be enjoyed for many years to come.
But, because Corbett Gardens are visited by so many people, we thought we'd open the discussion to all of the garden's users and ask them how they'd like to see the park look and feel in the future.
If you'd like to have your say or perhaps pass on a suggestion you'd like to see included in future refurbishments, why not drop into one of our remaining public Park Talks?
Our second Park Talk is being held today from 10am to 1pm in the gardens themselves and the final meeting will be held this Friday, June 19 from 12.30pm to 3.30pm at the Bong Bong Street end of Corbett Plaza.
The meetings will feature displays and interactive activities with council officers on hand to answer questions.
An additional public hearing and workshop to discuss the park's restrictions and requirements will be held on Saturday, June 20 in Corbett Gardens.
If you can't attend one of the meetings you can still have a say by completing an online survey at www.yoursay wingecarribee.com.au. This same link also contains additional information about the project and the ability to RSVP for Saturday's Workshop.
Any planned improvements to the Corbett Gardens will be undertaken after Tulip Time.

Congratulations to Southern Highlands artist Thomas Bucich on being chosen to bring his vision 'We Remember Them' to life on the walls of the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre.
The artwork was chosen following a public expression of interest program funded through the Federal Government's ANZAC Centenary Local Grants Program and supported via council's Arts and Culture Committee.
Following a rigorous selection process, Thomas' work was chosen by an assessment panel which included members of council's Arts and Culture Committee, community representatives, staff of council and members of the Moss Vale RSL Sub Branch and the Berrima Museum.
The judges felt Thomas' interpretation of the design brief best captured the spirit of our shire's men and women who served a century ago in the Great War.
Thomas' artwork incorporates three major design elements including reclaimed timber railroad sleepers, large enamel poppies and the words 'We Remember Them' carved in sandstone.
The mural will be located on the interior northern wall of the Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre and on completion will measure almost 20 metres in width by 2.5 metres in height.
Thomas will begin construction on the giant art project in the coming weeks which is expected to be unveiled in time for November's Remembrance Day commemorations.
