The second Nathan Granger Golf Day will be held from 11am at the Highlands Golf Club.
The event is held in honour of late Highlander Nathan Granger.
Nathan was 26 when he passed away in May 2013 from cancer.
He had battled the illness since he was an eight-year-old and had recurring bouts of cancer when he was 13 and 15 years old.
Nathan was well known as a chef at several Highlands restaurants and pubs.
The Granger family organised the inaugural golf day last year and it raised more than $20,000 for Camp Quality.
Steven Granger, Nathan's dad, said the family chose Camp Quality Illawarra because it was their son's favourite charity.
"It was a place he really enjoyed and Nathan felt most comfortable there," he said.
Steven said the key to the 2015 event would be having fun.
The format is a four-man ambrose and there will be plenty of novelty prizes up for grabs.
More than 120 golfers have signed up to hit the fairways.
A dinner will be held at Highlands Golf Cub tonight and close to 170 are expected to attend.
There will be a raffle, memorabilia auction and entertainment provided by Eclipse from 8pm.
Steven thanked all local businesses for their support of the event, including major sponsor Pacific National.
"Camp Quality's motto is we make laughter the best medicine.
"Come along and have a laugh on Friday," he said.
