TWO Highlands drivers will return to the race track this Sunday.
Andy Harris and David Stone will head to Eastern Creek Raceway to contest round three of the MX5 Cup.
Andy will hop back into his 2003 Mazda MX5 while Stone will borrow a MX5 from a friend.
Sunday will mark Andy's first test run after fixing some issues in his Mazda.
Andy upgraded his car earlier this year but experienced power steering issues last month in round two of the cup.
Andy, 19, started his MX5 campaign with a runner-up placing, a third, two sixths, a seventh and eighth place finish at Wakefield Park in February.
The Hill Top teenager started round two with a fourth and sixth placings before he returned his car due to the power issues.
Andy's father Russell Harris said his son's Mazda was "right to go" for Sunday's race.
"We have fixed the problems and the car is running like a Swiss watch," he said.
Russell said this weekend would be the first time his son had competed at Eastern Creek Raceway.
"It is a tight, technical circuit but Andy should do well," he said.
