Five staff members and two directors rolled up their sleeves to help farm staff and students with projects at the facility in Robertson.
Triple Care Farm provides a structured program for young adults seeking to get their lives back on track following substance abuse.
Bank staff are given paid leave to volunteer locally on projects that benefit the community.
Bank volunteer Erin Mills enjoyed the opportunity to support the community.
"It was fantastic to physically give back to such a worthwhile cause - and we had fun," she said.
Bank staff worked side by side with students from the farm to paint an internal wall in the gymnasium, establish mulch and plant three new garden beds and construct flooring in a section of the basketball arena.
BDCU Alliance Bank will continue to roll out its Corporate Volunteering Program as another part of its expanding community initiatives as Australia's first Social Enterprise Bank.
If your community organisation would like to participate in the volunteer program and access resources please contact Ross Stone at rstone@bdcualliancebank.com.au for more information.
