Bowls secretary Robin Staples has been very pleased with the number of nominations.
The draw is on the board, with games to begin on Wednesday, May 27 at 1pm.
Social victory
KEITH Edwards and John Layton recorded a social bowls win at Bowral Bowling Club last Wednesday.
Edwards and Layton defeated Bernie Michael and Barry Werfel by 21-13 shots.
After eight ends, Edwards and Layton led 9-4 before Michael and Werfel fought back to trail by 11-10.
Edwards and Layton pushed on for an eight-shot win.

Team Stafford wins
NOEL Fraser, Jim Neely and Kevin Stafford won a triples championship match on Sunday.
Fraser, Neely and Stafford defeated Reg Rodwell, Don Coleman and Bill Dodwell by 25-15 shots.
Team Dodwell led 8-5 after eight ends and still had a slight lead at 10-9 after 13 ends.
Team Stafford picked up eight shots on four ends to take a 17-12 lead. Team Dodwell then had a run at the head and converted shots.
With two ends to play, team Stafford held a 17-15 lead.
Team Stafford picked up eight shots to run out with a 10-shot win.
Decisive win by Lewis
A SECOND championship triples match was played on Saturday.
Mick Flynn, Jeff Williams and Ashley Lewis defeated Robin Staples, Ken Handley and Dennis Beatty 30-14.
Team Beatty had an 11-8 lead after nine ends.
After 11 ends, team Lewis took the lead at 13-12.
Team Lewis went on to record a solid win by 16 shots.
