During Awareness Week this week, May 11-17, sufferers around the world are using our precious energy to focus on one common goal: awareness-raising.
We are women, men and children, young and old, at differing levels of severity, with multiple systems of our bodies affected. We are among the invisibly disabled, with the severely ill bed bound and isolated from society.
For Southern Highlands residents, information is available from the Wollongong ME/CFS/FM Support Group at www.mecfsfmwollongong.org and the national body, Emerge Australia, at www.emerge.org.au.
