THEY DID IT: Moruya-based rescue crew officer Harley Dengate (blue surfski) feels the Bondi sand under his feet after the epic relay paddle from Bermigui which raised almost $10,000 for the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter. Board member Gordon Lang (centre, white surfski), Sydney rescue crew officer John Molnar (red surfski) and Moruya-based pilot Rob Wildman (far right) were also at the finish line at 1.10pm on Sunday, May 3.
