The Burrawang Anzac Service began with a wreath-laying ceremony and was led by Jack Skipper.
Mr Skipper thanked organiser Katherine Wood for the time she spent organising the ceremony at Burrawang, and the service that followed at Robertson.
"She has done a wonderful job, and had a lot to do with the new plaques as well," he said.
A large crowd stood on Hoddle Street to join together and commemorate Australia's Anzac history as a community.
