It is a perfect time to visit; as the new exhibition will feature local veterans of Gallipoli as well as the existing exhibition on the "Prisoners in Arcady" - about Germans imprisoned at Berrima Gaol in World War I.
Both exhibitions fit in perfectly with the Year 12 history syllabus.
They would also be very relevant for instance, to Moss Vale High School' s current across the school study of "Light Horse Boy".
Of course there is also the fact that this is the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli.
Though the exhibition has been on display since 2009 and has a very useful student and teacher guide with worksheets written by an eminent local historian, unfortunately not one local high school has visited the museum in all this time.
Schools have told me that this is because local bus travel is too expensive for them.
Perhaps there is a local benefactor willing to donate funds to allow local schools to have an excursion there?
