PETER Morales and George Bott recorded a gritty win at Bowral Bowling Club last Wednesday.
In the match of the day, Morales and Bott recorded a 17-16 win over Keith Edwards and Bill Meredith.
The teams were locked in a draw on four occasions.
It was four-all after six ends, eight-all after 11 ends, 13-all after 16 ends and 16-all with one end to play.
It was Bott who came to the rescue by securing victory on the last bowl of the match.

Beecroft challenge
BOWRAL will send a team to Beecroft on August 30 to challenge for the annual inter-club trophy.
Beecroft is the current holder of the trophy.
Newport Bowling Club will send a team to Bowral on October 6, 7 and 8.
A team from Merrylands Bowling Club will visit on Sunday, October 11.
