The free tutoring program run by Highlands Youth Services needs more volunteers.
It is held at the Youth Hub Wednesday and Thursday afternoons and refreshments are provided. Youth Worker Rob Betland said there were eight students on the waiting list, requiring assistance with math, English and homework.
"We really need more volunteers to join us," she said.
"There is currently six volunteer tutors helping 10 secondary school students."
Volunteers are required to fill out an application form and have a working with children's check which we can help them obtain.
