Discover where to start on Wednesday, April 1 when the Australian War Memorial's Jennifer Milward will be at the Southern Highlands Information Centre in Mittagong to provide assistance.
Ms Milward will give a public presentation from 11am for 45 minutes on how to begin this type of research.
Free individual 10-minute appointments are then available with Ms Milward from noon to 1.30pm and then from 2pm until 3.15pm.

Representatives from the Kangaroo March Re-enactment will also be present on the day to explain their activities in the lead up to the re-enactment march from Wagga Wagga to Sydney throughout September and October.
As part of all My Southern Highlands Red Carpet Day events, local product will be showcased.
This month, there will be tastings from Cherry Tree Hill Wines, Cuttaway Creek Raspberry Farm and Sutton Forest Olives.
