The 2015 Bowral Autumn Music Festival will feature events offered at both St Jude's Church and Mittagong Playhouse.
The 1920s will be brought to life at the first concert, held today at 1pm at the church.
The Acacia Quartet will present the soothing sounds of Gershwin's 'Lullaby' and Kreisler's 'Viennese String Quartet'.
These will provide the perfect frame for Erwin Schullhoff's exciting folk-inspired 'String Quartet No 1'.
The melodic day will continue with a performance by the Young Organist Recital at 4.30pm and 'Love Notes' presented by the Acacia Quartet with readings by Rachel Gregg from 7.30pm, both at the church.
The evening concert will feature varied compositions inspired by love.
Saturday's concerts begin at Mittagong Playhouse from 10.30am.
The program for the concert by the Acacia Quartet and Nick Russoniello on saxophone is light and youthful.
Featured soloist Nick was selected as the ABC Young Performer of the Year and was also the Fine Music 2014 Kruger Award winner.
At 2pm an organ recital will be performed by Tudor House director of music and performing arts Martin Rein.
Organist and director of the classical music program at St Jude's Church, Dr Allan Beavis, said he was happy to have Martin on board for the festival.
"Being a local he was able to step in at the last minute," he said.
"Martin recently gave a series of organ recitals throughout Europe including St Paul's Cathedral in London and he gave some in Berlin as well."
From 5.30pm, also at the church, the Acacia Quartet will perform once more, this time with Gerard Willems who returns to St Jude's on piano.
"We've imported a very nice piano for Gerard to use and we're looking forward to the festival greatly."
Sunday will finish off the music festival in a harmonious way with a festival service at 10am and an instrumental performance at 2pm by the Four Seasons with Lisa Stewart on violin and Neal Peres Da Costa on harpsichord.
Lisa recently performed with The Metropolitan Orchestra in Sydney while Neal, Australia's leading harpsichordist, brings much experience from his role as associate professor at Sydney University.
The festival brings together many renowned musicians and promises an impressive array of choice for music lovers in the Highlands.
A full series subscription is on offer for all seven concerts with reserved seating available, while individual admission is available for all other concerts.
