UNKNOWN persons damaged the 10th and 14th greens on the Narooma golf course on the weekend of February 21-22 with holes dug into greens and also a bundle of sparklers placed in the hole of the 10th green.

Shoplifting arrests
A 36-year-old local woman was charged with stealing at 6pm Thursday after she was allegedly seen on CCTV shoplifting from the supermarket at the Narooma Plaza.
Post arrest
POLICE investigating the thefts of portable hard drives from the Narooma post office have charged a woman with stealing and receiving in relation to the offences.
Mid ranger
A 53-year-old man stopped for a breath test on the Princes Highway near McMillan Road, Narooma at 7pm last Tuesday was charged with mid-range drink driving.
Operation BARB
FAR South Coast police participated in a region-wide Operation BARB over the weekend targeting alcohol related offences.
Around 55 licensed premises inspections were conducted with three breaches detected, while 121 vehicles were stopped for breath tests.
One driver was charged with low-range PCA and being unlicensed in the Beramgui area on Friday evening.
Cannabis possession
A 36-year-old local man was charged with possessing cannabis after he was searched on the Dalmeny cycleway at 3pm Saturday.
A 38-year-old female was also charged with possessing cannabis after she was searched at the Narooma Plaza at 6.30pm Thursday.
Wallet found
POLICE are tracking down the owner of a brown wallet found at the Michael Lerner Lookout south of Bermagui at 10am Sunday.
Search ends in tragedy
THE body of a teenage boy, who went missing on a large property at Moruya on Friday, was located the next day.
Police from Far South Coast Local Area Command were alerted after the 15-year-old boy failed to return home on Friday after leaving the property at Moruya.
Local Police and the Polair helicopter searched the area and on Saturday, a body, believed to be that of the missing boy, was located in nearby bushland.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

100 Years of Women in Policing
AS part of the 100 Years of Women in Policing, the NSW Police Force is profiling some of its local female police and civilian members and giving some background into their careers.
Senior Constable Angela Bennett is stationed at Bermagui Police Station. She graduated as a Probationary Constable in May 1999. She has served at Campbelltown, Bowral, Camden and Narooma Police Stations.
Senior Constable Bennett loves policing as a career as it allows her to help people.
She finds this rewarding, especially when there are positive results from the interactions. She enjoys community based policing in the Far South Coast.
