Larry asks what "qualification" I have to report on council.
One is that I'm a ratepayer who takes an interest on council matters (and have done so for the past 35 years) and the other is because Larry doesn't like me to!
I will continue to comment for years yet (I hope) and try to produce researched facts.
Larry has never argued with me regarding facts, he'd rather stay personal.
I will be personal from time to time but will welcome a debate on facts.
Larry gave a little lecture on the area set aside for industrial development at Moss Vale. Larry didn't know that its title was Economic Enterprise Zone so it's little wonder the opportunity for 4000 meaningful jobs was lost.
Larry in his last vote getting missive, which was laden with lots of emotive words, stated the bleeding obvious and repeated what others have said regarding the way Endeavour Energy clears trees from their power lines.
In this case endangered trees!
Larry was very quiet a few years ago when oak trees were ring barked in Cunningham Park, Sutton Forest.
He mouthed all the right words but did nothing about this vandalism.
Larry was certainly outraged and pursued Stan Howard, John Howard's brother, who was guilty of a lesser crime regarding trees.
An owner of a property along Range Road has also knocked over numerous endangered species trees.
Why would Larry be treating this so low key and not pursuing this owner as energetically as he did Stan Howard?
Why the different standards?
Larry says he will call a public meeting to discuss Endeavour Energy's behaviour and attitudes and no doubt he will be on centre stage as he doesn't want to be the last councillor elected, like last time.
