Chevalier and Oxley College's teams will resume the Independent Sports Association (ISA) summer competition tomorrow.
The ISA?program incorporates a variety of sports, including basketball, cricket and softball.
The 2014/15 summer competition began in Term Four, with six rounds contested before the school holidays.
Four more rounds will be played ahead of the ISA semi-finals, which start on February 28.
Chevalier sports administrator Andrew Bell said the college's teams were always competitive.
"Our girls firsts softball team is always strong, our boys under-14s cricket team will make the semis and our basketball teams go well."
Bell said Chevalier's students only returned to school on Thursday.
"They've gone straight back into training, so they could be fairly rusty on?Saturday," he said.
Oxley College sports administrator Kim McNaught said students were excited about resuming the ISA competition.
"The kids will be fresh from the school holidays," she said.
"We have a new school policy that encourages students to do at least one ISA season."
Several ISA games will be held in the Highlands tomorrow.
Chevalier's B boys basketball team will play at Moss Vale Basketball Stadium at 9.30am and 10.30am.
The college's senior softball and first grade cricket sides will play at Chevalier at 8.30am and 10am.
