The Lions will take on the Shellharbour Sharks at Highlands Tenpin in round two of the NSW State Tenpin Bowling League (STLBL).
The Highlanders suffered an 85-29 loss to the Lidcombe City Cougars in round one.
The Lions will look to get its campaign back on track, but faces a tough match against last year's STBL champion Shellharbour.
Lions captain Luke Hannon said he had made four changes to the team line-up to take on the Sharks.
"Jeff Buttigieg, Andy Norman, Geoge Williams and Stuart Stirling will come in for this round," he said.
"They are very good bowlers capable of big scores which is why they are in."
Shellharbour opened its STBL account with an 89-25 win over Gosford.
Hannon expected his team to be competitive.
"We've blown the cobwebs out so we'll be ready this time," he said.
"We are very familiar with the Sharks bowlers, but I'm confident we have the firepower to match them."
Hannon said Shellharbour had strike power across its squad.
"Jamie Kyriacou is their main danger," Hannon said.
"He bowled over 100 state league games last year with a 230 average which is quite impressive.
"But our philosophy is to fear no-one on the lanes and concentrate purely on our own game and making good shots."
