For more than a decade, Babs Mitchell and the Wingello Quilters have made quilted wall hangings called 'Blankets of Love' for the mothers of stillborn babies.
Ms Mitchell said she wanted any women who sew and want to be involved to get in touch.
"I want to use up all the excess material I have while contributing to a good cause," she said.
"The more quilts we make the better, as the mothers of stillborn babies really appreciate the wall hangings to take home with them."
Recently, Ms Mitchell drove down the coastline of NSW and across to Albury, and stopped in at country hospitals along the way.
"I left three or four of them behind at each hospital and got a fantastic reception," she said.
The Wingello Quilters supply both Bowral and Goulburn hospitals with the 'Blankets of Love'.
The group gathers on Wednesday and Thursday mornings for morning tea and chat with fellow quilters while contributing to a good cause.
If you're interested in being involved, call Babs Mitchell on 4884 4322 or 0439 844 322.
