Some enjoy a barbecue with family and friends, others listen to an Aboriginal Dreamtime story, you might cheer on the Aussie cricket team or chill out to Triple J's Hottest 100.
Everyone needs to remember a key factor on Australia Day: acceptance of others.
One of the greatest aspects of this nation is our diverse cultures.We need to join together and celebrate all that's great about our country.
There will be plenty of activities around the Southern Highlands on Monday, including the official ceremony in Berrima.

THERE will be plenty of people on the road this weekend, heading off on holidays or returning to see family and friends.
Police will be out in force during Operation Safe Return, the long weekend road safety enforcement campaign.
Double demerits will be in force during the campaign, which started at 12.01am this morning and concludes at 11.59pm on Monday, January 26.
With 12 people killed in fatal crashes since January 14, it is a timely reminder for Highlanders to remain vigilant on our roads.
