The Mittagong centre successfully hosted the final of the NSW Ten Pin Bowling League.
The contest proved to be an anti-climax, with Shellharbour's men recording a comprehensive win over Campbelltown.
All 12 lanes were in use on Sunday and three formats were contested - singles, doubles and teams (three players each).
Highlands Tenpin assistant manager Diane McAusland was unable to provide the official final scoreline, but said Shellharbour won by close to 700.
"It went really well, Shellharbour had a massive win," she said.
"There was not as many people (in the crowd) as I would have liked though."
Highlands Tenpin will host more professional ten pin bowling matches in 2015.
For the first time, the Highlands will enter a team, Mittagong Lions, in the NSW league.
The Lions will be hoping to make an early impression, with round one matches to be held at Highlands Tenpin in January.
"Hopefully we will draw a bigger crowd in January," she said.
Mittagong will also have division one and three teams in a Sydney-based competition.
Some matches will also be held at Highlands Tenpin.
