HIGHLANDER Ray Stone has continued to shine in the UK.
Ray and his Australian Secondary School teammates have enjoyed a successful rugby league tour of England and France.
The team will wrap up its tour tomorrow.
From six starts, the side has recorded five wins against a range of opponents.
The winning vibe continued on Monday when the Aussies recorded a 30-20 victory over a French under-19s side at Perpignan, France.
Ray was named in the starting side for the third successive game on tour.
The Moss Vale Dragon has been in regular contact with his father Rod Stone.
Rod said he was "pretty chuffed" with how his son had performed on tour.
"He's been happy," he said.
"I think Ray has exceeded his expectations - he never expected to get that far."
Australia began the tour with convincing wins over Combined Regional Select, Wigan Academy and Leeds Academy sides.
The Aussies secured a 22-18 victory in the first Test match against England Academy.
England fought back to tie the series with a 28-14 victory.
The final match on tour sees Australia up against the French under-18s at Toulouse tomorrow.
Rod said his son was a good team man.
"Ray has strong defence and will support his team mates."
