That's what two Highlands families are encouraging locals to do.
Mckay Photography and Lemon Zebra Kids are working together to raise money for BDCU Children's Foundation.
Darryn and Kirstine McKay said they wanted to do something to raise money for a local cause and they admired the work of the BDCU Children's Foundation.
"They do much special work so we decided to raise some money for them this Christmas," Kirstine said.
The McKay's teamed up with Lemon Zebra Kids owners Alix and Stuart Jamieson-Pate to host a winter wonderland photo shoot.
"We're both families with young kids so we said lets do something together," Kirstine said.
Alix said it was nice to have a Christmas themed photo shoot with a difference.
"Kirstine has designed and decorated the set and it's fantastic. Some children are frightened of Santa so this is a way to get Christmas photos with a difference," Alix said.
She said they were big believers in giving back to the community and doing that through BDCU Children's Foundation was perfect way to do that at Christmas time.
"We think about other at Christmas time, it can be a hard time for people, especially children who are in hospital and the Foundation does such an excellent job," Kristine said
The photo shoot is $15 and includes a 5 x 7 photo and an emailed copy. Proceeds go to BCDU Children's Foundation.
"Christmas is all about giving, so families get a Christmas Portrait and help a local charity at the same time," Kirstine said.
The photo shoots are on Tuesday, December 9 between 10am and 12pm, Tuesday, December 16 between 10am and 12pm and 3pm and 5pm and Thursday, December 18 between 12pm and 5pm at Lemon Zebra Kids, in Springetts Arcade, Bowral.
