Principal Wendy Buckley and teacher Emily Montanari were recently acknowledged at the Department of Education and Communities Awards.
The awards were presented at the Sydney Town Hall and Bowral Public School was proud to have acknowledgement of the good work being done by these staff members.
Ms Montanari was recognised for being an outstanding early career teacher.
Ms Buckley said Ms Montanari was in her first year of permanent teaching and made a difference to the students she taught on a daily basis.
"While a quiet achiever, this award acknowledges the work she does both in and out of the classroom," she said.
"Staff, parents and students were thrilled to congratulate Emily on this well deserved achievement."
Ms Buckley received her award for her outstanding contribution to public education.
She has been the school's principal for five years.In that time, Ms Buckley has worked tirelessly to ensure the school continues to offer all students the opportunity to succeed in their learning.
Both staff members accepted their awards in a night of celebration involving schools across the Greater Sydney area.
