BRADMAN Oval's pitch was a batting paradise on Saturday.
Robertson/Burrawang confirmed its premiership intentions by smashing more than 300 runs against a quality Goulburn first grade attack.
Led by Ben Hamilton's 90, Robertson/Burrawang piled up the runs to finish with an impressive total of 307.
Steve Fairburn (53) provided excellent support during a partnership with Hamilton.
Mitch Wright (47) and captain Nathan Wright (46) spent valuable time at the crease.
Goulburn's openers had to face a tricky four-over spell before stumps, but they came through unscathed.
Nathan Wright said he was pleased with his team's batting performance.
"At Bradman, you've got to cash in, and everyone chipped in a bit," he said.
Wright credited Hamilton for his innings.
"Ben put polish on at the end. He probably helped us to 40 more runs than Goulburn had hoped."
Wright said his side would push for an advantage this Saturday.
"We are hoping to get first innings points on a pitch that has been used a lot this year and is flat as a tack,” he said.
