WINGELLO holds a slight advantage after day one of its clash with Bowral.
The Tigers trail by 17 runs with five wickets in hand in the first grade cricket contest at Welby Oval.
Bowral batted first and compiled a total of 144.
However, the side would have been disappointed with the result after openers Billy McGuinness (55) and Duncan Macpherson (35) compiled an 82-run partnership.
The Tigers fought their way back into the contest through good, consistent bowling to take the remaining nine wickets for 62 runs.
Cameron and Matthew Pike led the way with 3/23 and 3/36 respectively, while Andrew Benson and Michael Pike collected two wickets apiece.
In a similar situation to its opponent, Wingello's opening batsmen laid a solid foundation before the innings collapsed.
Arron Deegan (58) and Bob Lewis (45) were impressive during their 102-run partnership.
However, led by Scott Woods' three wickets, Bowral fought its way back into the contest.
Wingello's next four wickets fell for 25 runs before stumps were drawn.
Tigers captain Grant Pike said his side pushed hard for an advantage on Saturday, before the late collapse.
"We will try get a few runs on the board (this weekend) and then look to roll them," he said.
Bowral skipper Duncan Macpherson said his side fought back well late in the day.
"We got a few wickets at the end of the day to give us a sniff," he said.
