The Highlands Business Circle will sell White Ribbon Day merchandise at Springetts Arcade on White Ribbon Day, Tuesday, November 25.
Highlands Business Circle member Garry Ponder said the group gives back to the community and supports local causes including Youth Refuge, Wingecarribee Health Association for Men and Bowral Hospital.
"Although violence against women is a national shame, all local communities are affected and we like to support the great community education programs that White Ribbon promote," Mr Ponder said.
White Ribbon Day is the world's largest movement to stop violence against women, promote gender equality, healthy relationships and a new vision of masculinity.
White Ribbon Australia is part of the global movement and aims to create an Australian society in which all women can live in safety, free from violence and abuse.
On White Ribbon Day, people are asked to wear a white ribbon as a personal pledge that they don't excuse violence against women. Wearing a ribbon also supports the positive role men can play in preventing men's violence against women and inspiring them to be part of a social change.
