The front window of Amcal Pharmacy, which faces Bong Bong Street, Bowral, has taken on an appearance of mysterious celebration in an effort to promote Canassist's latest and biggest ever fundraising event.
Venice Carnivale will be held on November 20 at Berkelouw's Bendooley Estate in Berrima.
It promises to be an evening of mystique, Italian cuisine, fine wine and the opportunity to purchase some amazing items through a silent and standard auction. It is an event inspired by a donation to CanAssist earlier this year.
When Professor Desmond Freeman donated an original framed picture of the San Marco Piazza the local branch members decided it needed to become a centrepiece of a top-class fundraiser.
Plans were soon underway for an a night of entertainment and fun with all the trimmings in the form of the CanAssist Venice Carnivale Dinner and Auction.
Described by organisers as an event where guests can wear their best and a mask Carnivale will be lead by Master of Ceremonies Dr Nick Hartnell with guest speaker Associate Professor Stephen Della-Fiorentina.
