The Fling is one of Australia's largest and most challenging mountain bike marathons.
In 2014, it will also incorporate the fourth and final race in the inaugural Maverick Marathon Series.
Entries close on Monday, November 3.
As always, the competition to take line honors in the 10th Fling will be fierce with some of Australia's best riders taking to the start line.
Swell-Specialized team rider Shaun Lewis will be defending his Maverick Series leader's jersey while hoping to be first over the line, something he has not managed as yet in the series.
While three consecutive second places has been enough to keep him in the lead, he is keen to finish the Maverick series with a victory.
In the female race, Naomi Hansen is sure to fire up as she needs to stay ahead of Cristy Henderson to hang onto her series leader jersey.
Alongside serious racing, the CamelBak Highland Fling is a social weekend of riding on November 8 and 9.
Popular events include the Rolloff World Championships, where skin-suits and aero helmets meet knobbly tyres, and the fast and furious Bundanoon Dash.
