Hill Top was outplayed for the majority of its second grade clash with Bowral, but nearly recorded an unlikely victory.
Bowral had accumulated a 69-run lead after both teams had completed their first innings.
Chris Packer then blasted his way to an unbeaten century for Hill Top, as the side reached 245.
With less than 20 overs remaining on Saturday, Bowral needed to score 177 to win outright
However, any plans of attack backfired when Bowral lost early wickets.
Bowral limped to 7/61 by the end of play, but the side won on first innings points.
Captain Andrew Macleod said his players played to the best of their abilities on Saturday.
"We were very pleased to get first innings points," he said.
