ALL summer Independent Sporting Association (ISA) competitions are now underway.
Chevalier College was blessed with another great day weather-wise on Saturday.
In the basketball, Chevalier had the girls and the boys B teams at home.
The girls had a fantastic start to the season with spectacular performances against Oxley and Oakhill.
The Firsts Girls got their season off to a great start with a very convincing win against Oakhill.
A good all-round team effort saw Chevalier's girls start and finish the game dominating their opponents.
Good early signs for a successful season ahead.
The coaches and players were happy, but there will be tougher competition ahead this week.
In the boys at home, Chevalier's 13B, 14B and 15B teams were all very rusty to begin, but got their aim right in the second half to run out winners.
The Boys A teams were away at Warriewood and the 13s and 15s came home winners.
The Firsts couldn't repeat their good start last week, but played well against a team which will be in the running for the title.
The softball girls had the best start possible to their season with a coaching and skills day at Blacktown.
The day was run by NSW softball team members and coaching staff, so Chevalier's players and coaches came away with new skills and tips for the season ahead.
Chevalier's teams also managed to help celebrate McHappy Day on the trip home.
Conditions were great for cricket, although all of Chevalier's teams struggled to score runs.
The Firsts were up against Oakhill and a score of 124 could have been good enough to win.
Oakhill managed to hang in right up until the last ball when it scored two runs to overtake Chevalier's total.
Harry Taufel was Chevalier's best with the bat and ball.
Chevalier's under 14s and under 16s also played matches on Saturday.
