There's some great things to see, do, eat, drink and enjoy in the Southern Highlands this long weekend at the Flavours of Spring celebrations brought to you by Highlands Foodie Group.
Joadja Vineyards 'Music in the Vines' series of free concerts is presenting The Tinkers with ARIA Hall of Fame recipient and former Midnight Oil's Jim Moginie, Irish born Evelyn Finnerty, singer and fiddle player and Dubliner Alan Healy - a highly regarded exponent of Irish music from 1pm on Sunday.
Guests can visit the cellar door for free wine tastings and enjoy a hot pizza direct from the wood-fired oven. Exeter CWA will be there with cakes, cookies, preserves.
Marist Wines on the corner of Old South Road, Mittagong will be open all weekend from 11am to 4pm. To celebrate 'Flavours' and to launch the new releases - including the 2014 Pinot Gris - the best in five years, 10 per cent off is offered for all wines at the Cellar Door. Bousaada Vineyards and Cellar Door will hold Sunset in the Vines from 3pm October 4 featuring the latest wine releases 2014 Rose and 2013 Pinot Noir, live 'indi-folk' style music with top group 'Master Tiger Band'. Enjoy Bousaada picnic hampers in the Cellar Door and Courtyard at 153 Kells Creek Rd, Mittagong.
