Ten fire brigades from across the Wingecarribee Shire took part in the annual NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) Open Day.
The Penrose, Yerrinbool, Exeter, Robertson, Hill Top, Wingello, Mandemar, Colo Vale, Bundanoon and Wollodilly brigades hosted events.
Activities included a sausage sizzle and jumping castle for the kids.
Inspector David Stimson from the Southern Highlands Team of RFS said he had received positive feedback about the day.
"All the reports we have received so far indicate that it was a very successful day all round," he said.
