Mr Reeson was among the special guests at the festival in Corbett Gardens, Bowral, on Saturday, September 13.
The Alive and Cooking host is filming an episode of the national television series at the two-day festival.
Mr Reeson said the festival had a "nice and mellow vibe".
"I'm loving it," he said.
"It's got a really nice little vibe.. it's the right size and has local producers, exactly what this kind of show should be."
The Southern Highlands Food and Wine Festival will continue at Bowral on Sunday, September 14 from 10am-4pm.
Entry is $10 for adults or free admission for children under the age of 15.
