Written by Cheryl Ward, Through These Lines recreates the letters, diaries, stories and recollections of those extraordinary young Australian women who served as nurses during World War I.
Through These Lines is touring regional NSW, which includes two shows at Mittagong Playhouse this Thursday, September 4.
The Mittagong performances will feature a Highlands flavour.
Through These Lines' crew is partnering with the Rural Commemorative Youth Choir, which will entertain during the intervals of the afternoon and night shows.
The choir's girls will be dressed as WWI nurses, while the boys will be in historic WWI army uniforms.
The Rural Commemorative Youth Choir is an initiative that grew out of the Kangaroo March Re-Enactment, to be held in 2015.
The choir was set up as a legacy of the Centenary of Anzac in the towns along the march's route, which includes the Highlands.
Through These Lines will be at Mittagong Playhouse on Thursday, September 4 at 1pm and 7pm.
Tickets are $35 for adults or $28 for concession.
