More than 300 people arrived in Bowral on Saturday as part of the drive to raise money for the Variety Children's Foundation.
Councillor Ian Scandrett was among the group that helped to get the Highlands involved in the 2014 bash.
Cr Scandrett said most hotels and motels in Bowral, Mittagong and Moss Vale were booked out on Saturday night.
Cr Scandrett said the bash had helped the Highlands economy, which highlighted the importance of placing a focus on events and tourism in the region.
"I'm delighted... it's very substantial," he said.
More than 300 participants in 130 vehicles departed from outside of Bowral's Bradman Museum on Sunday morning.
Unfortunately, there was heavy rain as drivers started the final leg of the bash on Sunday.
Cr Scandrett said he was disappointed the weather wasn't better for drivers.
"At least the grass will grow for spring."
