A MAN is in a serious condition after a collision between a bicycle and a car in Welby.

A spokesperson from Ambulance Service of NSW said the man, believed to be in his mid to late 30s, had several injuries.
The incident happened at about 3.15pm this afternoon, (Thursday, August 7).
Police said the man was riding a push bike along Old Hume Highway, Welby, when a car turned right onto Meranie Street and the two collided.
Police said the man was in a stable condition, suffering from pelvic injuries and a possible spinal injury.
An Ambulance Helicopter landed at Welby Oval and the patient will be transported to Liverpool Hospital.
