The event launched the 2014 competition and was an acknowledgement for all of the sponsors.
None of this year's contestants attended, but guests included the 2013 finalists and mentors for 2014.
The competition is run by the BDCU Children's Foundation and the Rotary Club of Berrima District.
BDCU Children's Foundation vice-president Ross Stone said Tuesday's event was a success.
"Its a meet and greet, and a chance to acknowledge our sponsors," he said.
There are 42 contestants in this year's Cook Off, divided into pairs.
All teams are busily training for the competition and receiving advice from their mentors.
The first heat is less than one week away.
The event will be held on Tuesday, August 5 at Cookability School at the Kazcare site in Kirkham Rd, Bowral.
