A MAN aged in his 40s was treated on the Hume Highway at Mittagong for a stab wound on Thursday afternoon.

Paramedics responded to the Hume Highway Southbound shortly after 4pm where a male was suffering a large stab wound.
He was treated on scene by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital for further treatment. Paramedics then attended an address in Colo Vale where they treated another man suffering facial lacerations as a result of an altercation that had occurred with the man treated on the Hume Highway.
Police investigations are underway.
