A 55-YEAR-OLD woman was charged with mid-range PCA and suspended from driving after she allegedly failed a breath test.
At about 3.50pm on July 21, police were conducting stationary random breath testing on Boardman Road, Bowral, when they stopped the woman.
Police said once the window was down, they immediately noticed a strong smell of intoxicating liquor coming from inside the car.
The driver supplied a sample which came back positive.
The driver was arrested and taken to Bowral Police Station where her test returned a positive reading of .090. She was charged with mid range PCA and was issued a licence suspension notice, prohibiting her from driving a motor vehicle.
Travellers fined
SEVERAL travellers were issued with infringement notices on July 21 when police conducted patrols of the Bowral Railway Station.
Police were conducting checks on passengers for valid travel tickets and several were travelling without valid tickets.
