CRICKET Clubs in NSW have until Friday, August 15 to apply for a support package from the CommBank Cricket Club.
Cricket clubs from across Australia have the opportunity to receive a share of more than $100,000 worth of cash and sporting equipment to help keep cricket thriving in their local community.
Community cricket clubs can apply for:
* The 2014 CommBank Cricket Club Grants for Grassroots program, which awards 90 cricket clubs with a cash grant of $1000 and an equipment pack containing training and playing gear including Kookaburra stumps, training balls and more.
* A Super Grant, which will be awarded to one community club that will have its Grants for Grassroots package upgraded to $10,000.
* The 2014 CommBank Cricket Club Empowerment Project, which offers at least five community clubs a tailored support package, such as a clubhouse makeover or infrastructure upgrade.
